- ‘Net shape’ design minimizing machining and grinding costs reducing investment and therefore reducing overall product costs.
The assembly process is characterized for achieving high safety factors. All significant process parameters and geometric criteria are measured to 100% and recorded. Feedback systems mean that process corrections can be carried out immediately, resulting in high accuracy in the camshaft assembly and optimization for the subsequent grinding process. The grinding allowance is minimized which further reduces the manufacturing costs.
